The challenge
Like many fast-growing companies, Varda Care had gradually built up an extensive AWS platform supporting critical parts of its business. At the same time, the company lacked a complete overview of how the infrastructure was configured, what optimization opportunities existed, and which security and operational initiatives should be prioritized.
The company was also in the process of building more technical expertise in-house. To successfully manage this transition, it was essential to gain full visibility into the AWS environment, establish solid operational processes, and ensure that the internal organization had a strong foundation to take ownership going forward.
Varda Care therefore sought a partner that could provide an independent assessment of its AWS environment, identify areas for improvement, and help establish a long-term strategy for secure, cost-efficient, and scalable operations.
The solution
In collaboration with internal competency, Cloudya led the improvement initiative from analysis through implementation.
The engagement began with a comprehensive assessment of the AWS environment and a Well-Architected Review, conducted with support from Cloudya's partner network and Arrow's CCoE team. Based on the findings, Cloudya developed a prioritized action plan addressing security, operational, and financial improvement opportunities.
Cloudya then coordinated the implementation of the recommended measures through specialized AWS consultants from its partner network, led by Antire, while also providing strategic guidance related to future growth, funding opportunities, and data sovereignty considerations.
Throughout the entire process, Cloudya acted as the customer's primary point of contact, ensuring that all initiatives were executed in alignment with both business and technical objectives.
Results after 6 months
After six months, Varda Care had established a significantly stronger AWS platform with improved control, security, and cost efficiency. Key results included:
